Barc Park North Now Open
As Lauren Poster previewed in her September profile on the Barc Park at The Market Common, the City of Myrtle Beach's new Barc Park at 62nd Avenue North is now open.
A beautifully sunny, 70-degree day set the perfect backdrop Monday as dozens of dog owners and their canine companions took advantage of this new, 3.3-acre facility. Barc Park North opened last month and features separate, fenced areas for small and large dogs. Like its counterpart to the south, it also offers a great venue for dogs to enjoy plenty of leash-free play.
Barc Park North is located next to the new Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA, located off 62nd Avenue North just west of U.S. 17 Bypass.
