Thoughts are turning to romance as Valentine’s Day gets closer, and it’s the perfect time for sweethearts to consider a romantic beach vacation or getaway at a Myrtle Beach area hotel or resort.

The holiday for love falls on a weekend this year, so many places are planning special deals for the entire Valentine’s weekend. Couples can arrive on Thursday or Friday and enjoy champagne, meal specials and other special amenities.
