Brandon Advertising Unveils New Brand Identity

http://www.mbsun.com/Brandon%20new%20logo.jpgA half century after its founding, one of the region's most prominent and recognizable companies has just unveiled a new brand identity. From a release issued earlier today by (the former) Brandon Advertising and Public Relations:

In an effort to stay at the forefront of the rapidly changing advertising industry, Brandon Advertising and Public Relations, one of the leading travel, tourism and real estate agencies in the Southeast, announced today that the Agency has undergone a name change to The Brandon Agency. The Agency's new infrastructure, and foremost its new approach, allows the Agency to stay ahead of ever-changing industry trends and meet today's challenging marketing environment.

"The advertising industry has changed drastically since Brandon Advertising first opened 50 years ago," said Scott Brandon, CEO and president of The Brandon Agency. "The traditional agency model has been dead for awhile. As the industry changes, we too have to change in an effort to provide the best and most strategic services to our clients. It is about so much more than advertising these days. We now have to stay on top of emerging social media trends, interactive marketing and new media strategies. And it starts with our entire Agency team of originalists - a fully integrated team of marketing professionals who are no longer siloed into departments; but instead collaborated into core teams of strategic thinkers and executers. Our Agency's name was changed to reflect the change in the company's infrastructure. We feel very strongly about what our new name represents and hope our clients and prospects will as well."

The Brandon Agency's infrastructure has changed to collaborative teams in lieu of traditional disciplines of creative, interactive, media and public relations. The Project Management Team consists of account services and public relations and is the glue that keeps Agency clients and the Agency account teams focused on like objectives. The Project Management Team is responsible for developing and communicating all client messaging and maintaining the process of various marketing projects. The Channel Development Team, which consists of creative, interactive and media, is tasked with developing the marketing tactics and distribution channels Agency clients require to effectively market their business. The Brand Strategist and Insights Team conducts research programs, determines the client's brand idea and sets the marketing direction for the entire account team.

To support this change, The Brandon Agency has also launched a new Web site, TheBrandonAgency.com, and an updated corporate identity package along with new social media sites; Facebook and MySpace.
