Caribbean Resort Tower Renovations Complete

Those who haven't been back to the Caribbean Resort in a while are in for several treats when they return this summer.

Paired with the brand-new Cayman Tower on the resort's north end, the recently completed renovations to the adjacent, 14-story Dominican Tower complete a dramatic transformation of the Ocean Boulevard skyline at 30th Avenue North. The facelift has also gone indoors with room renovations including new designer furnishings and window treatments, as well as new carpeting, wallpaper and tiling.

From the outside, the before-and-after effect is stunning: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/212/500784866_72cdd14ffa.jpg

By next month, a slew of new water features will also be ready to entertain guests throughout the summer, and beyond. What used to be a parking lot for the next-door Sea Captain's House Restaurant is on its way to becoming an oceanfront water park reserved strictly for Caribbean Resort guests, and featuring a pirate ship, 60-foot tube slide and other interactive features. A second, 200-foot lazy river is also under construction, with indoor/outdoor amenities to provide family fun on a year-round basis.

Hotel looks great, but staff is terrible. Front desk crew needs a replacing. Very rude and unhelpful.

The new look over there is night and day and a nice improvement for the area.  I hope more hotels that re-model do it with this kind of classic look in mind.
