Celebration Music Theatre to Celebrate Grand Opening with Special Pricing
On Monday, February 28, Celebration Music Theatre will officially raise the curtain on its new entertainment venue in Surfside Beach. To celebrate the opening, the theatre will offer special “March Madness” ticket prices for all performances through March 17th with $17 tickets for adults and $10 tickets for children (ages 3 – 16).
Following a renovation of the long-time theatre space, Celebration Music Theatre will be the permanent home of house tribute show SUPERSTARZ! Live in addition to a robust Broadway series including the popular musical comedy Greater Tuna and blockbuster Hairspray, in addition to a number of original productions including the “kids rockin’ celebration” the Rocktastics!.
“As a live performance venue which is home to professional musicians, dancers and actors alike, establishing a connection between world-class live music and entertainment with both local and visiting audiences is integral to our mission of making outstanding professional performance readily available to everyone,” states Greg London, managing artistic director.
Tickets are on sale now by contacting the Celebration Music Theatre box office at (843) 839-5483. Performances of the all-new SUPERSTARZ! Live are scheduled nightly at 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday beginning February 28th with a 2 p.m. matinee show on Wednesday. Performances of the first Broadway series show Greater Tuna will open with an 8 p.m. show on April 18th and run through April 27th.
