Cinderella Project Helps Teens in Need Attend Prom

http://www.scbar.org/public/files/img/yld2.jpgNow in its eighth year, the South Carolina Young Lawyers Division's “Cinderella Project” is working its magic to make the 2009 prom season a special one for local high school students.

The Cinderella Project accepts donations of gently worn formal gowns, shoes and accessories for socially and economically disadvantaged youth. Students from Myrtle Beach-area high schools will be invited to attend a “boutique” to be held on Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Academy of Arts, Science and Technology (895 International Drive, Myrtle Beach).

Donations are being accepted at multiple law offices in the area, including:

  • Wylie and Frazier, 112 Ye Olde Kings Hwy., North Myrtle Beach
  • Hearn, Brittain and Martin, 4614 Oleander Drive, Myrtle Beach
  • Law Offices of Deborah Dantzler, 1203 Main St., Conway
  • Moore, Johnson and Saraniti, 1271 Glenns Bay Road, Surfside Beach

Dropoff deadline is Monday, March 2. For more information, contact Melissa Frazier at (843) 249-0025 or wylieandfrazier@aol.com.
