Coastal Carolina Baseball Steaming Toward Postseason Run
Anticipating its baseball team’s selection to host an NCAA Tournament Regional at BB&T Coastal Field, Coastal Carolina University is offering fans the opportunity to pre-order those tickets now in a rally-cry effort to “Fill the Seats with Teal.”
All-session tickets are selling for $50 (outfield seating), $60 (upper bowl) and $75 (lower bowl), and can be pre-ordered by calling the CCU Athletics Ticket Office at 843-347-TIXX (843-347-8499) or 1-877-4-CHANTS (1-877-424-2687).
Demand is expected to be heavy as Coastal Carolina steams toward postseason play with major momentum. The Chanticleers (40-6, ranked #4 in the nation in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches’ Poll and #7 by Baseball America) began its final home series of the regular season Saturday with a 20-3 thrashing of Big South Conference rival Winthrop. The win kept the Chanticleers undefeated in conference play in 2010.
