Cumulus Makes Changes to Myrtle Beach-Area Stations

July 5 brought changes to two Cumulus Media-owned stations in Myrtle Beach. On Monday morning, Cumulus flipped WSEA-FM (100.3) from its hip-hop “Power 100.3” to a contemporary hit radio (CHR) format named as “i100,“ playing “Today’s Hottest Hits.”

Cumulus also announced they will simulcast WSEA on WXJY-FM (93.7) in Georgetown. WXJY had previously simulcast Myrtle Beach-based ESPN radio (93.9/1050 AM “The Team”).

In addition, “Kiss 98.5” WDAI-FM will change format from R&B to urban hits and Hip-Hop, returning to its onetime “Big Station” handle. The Rickey Smiley Morning Show and Dougie Stylz in afternoons will be moved from WSEA to WDAI.
