Dozens of Area Courses Participating in Patriot Golf Day
Some 37 Grand Strand golf courses will participate in the fourth annual Patriot Golf Day program, which runs Sept. 3-6 in thousands of locations nationwide. Participating courses are asking golfers at check-in to donate a minimum of $1 to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation, to provide post-secondary education scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our country.
Patriot Golf Day has raised more than $5.4 million in the past three years, and the Folds of Honor Foundation has awarded more than 1,100 scholarships in that time.
