Davis Love III Commits to 2012 Monday After the Masters

Longtime PGA TOUR star and 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup Team captain Davis Love III has committed to play in the Hootie & The Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am, set for Monday, April 9 at The Dye Course at Barefoot Resort, Alan Blondin at The Sun News reports.

Love III joins an impressive list of current and former PGA TOUR stars who have participated in this event in years past, including Jim Furyk, Dustin Johnson, John Daly, Chris DiMarco and Woody Austin, among others.

ESPN's "Mike & Mike in the Morning" radio show will also return to broadcast live from 6-10 a.m. at the Dye Course's 1st tee area.

Tickets for the event, which routinely sells out in advance and attracts some 6,000 spectators each year, go on sale at 11 a.m. Saturday at The House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, Barefoot Resort pro shops and all Ticketmaster outlets. Prices are $15 apiece and kids 12 and under are admitted free, but must have a ticket to enter.
