http://www.thefirstteemyrtlebeach.org/Images/Library/FT-NSP-logo-small.jpgEntry slots remain for The Charity Golf Classic scheduled for this Thursday, Feb. 26 at Legends Golf Resort’s Moorland Course.

Check-in is at 11 a.m., where lunch is provided and the Classic will be hosting a silent auction. The 12 p.m. shotgun start will be followed by hors d’oeuvres and awards at 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds from The Charity Golf Classic will fund The First Tee of Myrtle Beach operating costs, and also help bring The First Tee National School Program to Horry County in early 2009. The National School Program is being implemented in 10 Horry County Schools at a cost of $28,000, which is being shared by The First Tee of Myrtle Beach and a matching grant from The First Tee national home office. There is no cost to participating schools.

The tournament format is a two-person scramble, and registration fees are $175 per individual, and $350 for a two-person team. Player gift packages will include a shirt, cap, towel and team photo.
