Golf Question of the Week:  Is Thanksgiving Golf Your Salvation?

Hey, guys – on Thanksgiving Day, who has it better than you?

You have the perfect excuse to grab the golf clubs in the morning and “get out of your wife’s hair” as she prepares the holiday feast. You get to play 18 … come home to a fully prepared smorgasbord … eat and drink your face off … and slip blissfully into your tryptophan-induced coma as you watch the Cowboys beat the snot out of the Jets, and Uncle Olaf waxes poetic about the great new weed trimmer he just bought at Home Depot.

Reality check? You tell me, Beach Bloggers, as we ask our Turkey Day edition of the “Myrtle Beach Golf Question of the Week”:

Is playing golf on Thanksgiving Day your blessing, or your curse? Or both?

If you want to test your theory, check out the last-minute specials. And don’t ever let it be said that I wasn’t a shameless enabler.

Just enjoy it while you’re out there, boys, because if the misses does a slow boil because you’re not around to help her rip the gizzard from the bird, make no mistake … payback’s coming.

Two words: Black Friday.

Couldn’t have said it better but my wife also golfs so the deal is we are heading off to golf now and then to the Plantation for dinner and wine with friends. Don’t you love the options at the beach.
