Summerville placekicker Dylan Zimmerman (pictured) practices for the South squad in preparation for this Saturday's South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association North-South All-Star Football Game at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach.

Among the Grand Strand-area players for the South squad are linebacker Kinard Gadsden-Gilliard (Georgetown), defensive lineman Matt Smith (Myrtle Beach) and guard Erskine Johnson (Conway).

The past two decades have seen this event emerge as one of the premier high school all-star football games in the country. About 5,000 fans turned out for the 2007 matchup at Coastal Carolina University's Brooks Stadium, and this year's contest at Doug Shaw is expected to draw a big turnout as well.

For more information, visit the game's Web site.
