Grande Dunes, Wachesaw East Re-enter Golf Insider Top 25
The Resort Course at Grande Dunes (No. 20) and Wachesaw Plantation East (No. 25) returned to the Myrtle Beach Golf Insider Top 25 monthly rankings in February 2011 for the first time in four and seven months, respectively, the Web site announced Tuesday.
Grande Dunes and Wachesaw East supplanted Sandpiper Bay and Crown Park, whose respective four-month stints in the Top 25 came to an end. Man O’ War moved down one spot from last month to No. 21, while Long Bay Club moved up one to No. 24. All other spots in the February rankings remain unchanged since last month.
The rankings are determined by golfers who submit their post-play reviews for publication on the Golf Insider’s Web site, www.MBGolfInsider.com. They are based on the aggregate scores of each participating golfer’s review, where golfers rate on a 10-point scale their course experience in each of six categories.
The February 2011 Top 25 was completed on Feb. 28, with ties separated by total number of reviews for each course. To see the this month's rankings, click here.
