House of Blues and A&M/Octone recording artist Hollywood Undead have announced the inaugural Revolt Tour 2011 headlined by Hollywood Undead, featuring special guests 10 Years, Drive A and New Medicine. The tour kicks comes to the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, May 17.
"House of Blues has had the honor of working with Hollywood Undead on all their sold-out headlining tours since their 2009 breakthrough," said Kelly Kapp, vice president, House of Blues Talent. "We've developed a great relationship over the past few years and we couldn't think of a better headliner for the Revolt Tour. Our goal is to grow this into an annual tour that showcases both established & developing artists."
Hollywood Undead's new album, "American Tragedy," will be released April 5, 2011. It follows the 2008 CD, "Swan Songs," which is approaching platinum status worldwide.
Universal Republic recording artists 10 Years', the alt rock band from Knoxville, TN, recently released its third album, "Feeding the Wolves." The new single, "Fix Me," is a return to the roots the group established with the #1 smash "Wasteland."
Dead Conflict recording artists Drive A will release a new album, "The World in Shambles," April 5. The Los Angeles band has built a growing fan base since the release of its debut album, "Loss of Desire," in 2009. Their single "Revolt" is an anthem for the tour and can be downloaded for free on the tour website www.therevolttour.com.
Minneapolis based New Medicine will also join the Revolt. New Medicine injects a little hope into hard rock on their debut album, Race You to the Bottom, out now via Photo Finish Records.
