Mats Wilander Headlining Litchfield Tennis Benefit
Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort announced today that former world No. 1 men’s professional player Mats Wilander will headline “Litchfield Pros-4-Kids,” a special tennis clinic, exhibition and party at Litchfield Racquet Club on Friday, November 11, 2011.
The event will take place from 3:30 – 8 p.m. and will include a doubles match featuring Wilander, Myrtle Beach tennis professional Will Bull and fellow tennis pros Vlad Handl and Cameron Lickle. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the J.O.Y. School for Kids in Pawleys Island. Tickets for the clinic, exhibition and party are $120, or $25 for the exhibition and party. Tickets are limited to the first 200 people and can be purchased by visiting Litchfield Racquet Club or by calling (843) 237-3983.
Only about 60 people can be accommodated for the special tennis clinic with Wilander and the other tennis professionals.
“If you are a tennis enthusiast, or merely enjoy watching good, solid tennis, this is a must-attend event,” said Kristen Prunier Eberle director of tennis at Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort. “To have a former world number one player here competing with some pretty amazing players including Myrtle Beach’s own Will Bull, it will be a lot of fun for the fans, and all for a good cause.”
