Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday Offers Summer Family Golf Tournaments

Have a young teen in the house who's been on your case to join you on the links? Why not pair up for a day of Myrtle Beach golf that also gives you both a shot at some great prizes?

Here's the cherry on the sundae: how does $18.50 apiece sound?

It's all possible before the summer season runs out, thanks to Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday and its Summer Family Golf Tournaments.

Wachesaw East, Farmstead, Aberdeen and Myrtlewood Pinehills are among the August venues offering a $37 entry fee that includes golf, cart, and the chance to win one of several tournament prizes. Competitions at Arrowhead, Glen Dornoch or The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort will run you only $20 more, but either way, youth 16 and under play free (one youth per paying adult). At either $18.50 or $28.50 per person, you won't find a better golf value anywhere along the Grand Strand.

Besides an adult/youth competition, each tournament offers an open division and couples flight for two-person teams. It's a Captain's Choice (scramble) format, and don't worry if you don't have an updated handicap - you won't need it under the Callaway handicap scoring system. Longest drive and closest-to-the-pin contests will also be featured.

Each entry also includes a one-year subscription to Golf Magazine.

For more information and to enter one of this summer's remaining tournaments, visit the Summer Family Golf Web site.
