Myrtle Beach NBC Affiliate Hits Airwaves This Friday

This Friday, Aug. 8, Myrtle Beach will finally have an NBC affiliate to call its own as WMBF-TV hits the airwaves. It will be broadcast on Channel 10 on local cable (replacing Columbia-based and fellow Raycom Media affiliate WIS-TV), and on Channel 32 over the air.

The station's Web site already has lots of information and videos in place for you to get to know your local NBC news team. Here's one of anchor Michael Maely, who shows us a bit of his adventurous side outside the newsroom:
