“Nights of a Thousand Candles” Captures Lowcountry Holiday Magic

Brookgreen Gardens, the world's largest sculpture garden, has five nights remaining in its spectacular annual holiday event. Nights of a Thousand Candles continues December 11-12 and 17-19, from 3 to 10 p.m.

Nights of a Thousand Candles, which was recently named one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society, features thousands of lights shining from the garden paths and trees as well as live holiday performances. Photographer Keith Jacobs was on hand for the event's Dec. 4 opening night, and captured the sights and flavor of this year's festival in this photo gallery:
