Pat Boone, the prolific pop singer with more than 45 million albums sold over the past half century, will help christen the opening of his new Pat Boone Family Theater in Myrtle Beach with daily performances Oct. 21-23.
The new venue resides at the former NASCAR Cafe location at 21st Ave. N. and U.S. 17 Bypass, and is slated to open Oct. 14.
Boone's shows are preceded by appearances from Major League Baseball legend Pete Rose, presenting his show "An Evening with Pete Rose: 4,192, The Making of the HIt King" that chronicles the rise of the game's all-time hits leader.
The theater will feature a seating capacity of 600, along with a Pat Boone museum featuring a collection of his memorabilia and an illusions ultra lounge that's slated to open in early 2012.
