Pro Boxing Debuts This Month in Myrtle Beach
Mixed martial arts has had its share of success with its recent Grand Strand events, and now professional boxing is ready to take its turn.
Southeast Boxing Promotions presents “Battle at the Beach” on Saturday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Eleven bouts are scheduled for this fight card, to include Myrtle Beach’s own Tomar “T-Bo” Washington, Phillip “Rumble” Burnette, Tyron Johnson, Pete “One Punch” Guthy and Courtney “The Dragon” Knox. Thaddine Swift Eagle-Johnson is also scheduled to defend her WIBC & WIBU title belts, while the event also marks the professional debut of Anthony “The Italian Stallion” Stallone (the nephew of the original “Rocky,” Sylvester Stallone).
Former five-time world champion Felix “Tito” Trinidad has also been invited to attend this event.
