Rhonda Vincent Headlines Bluegrass Festival

Bluegrass music brings some of its best to the Grand Strand next week to celebrate the 40th Annual South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival, Nov. 26-28 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

Performers include Rhonda Vincent, a seven-time Female Vocalist of the Year as honored by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA). Vincent performs twice on Saturday, Nov. 28 with her band, The Rage. Among Vincent's renowned singles is her 2004 hit "If Heartaches Had Wings," and its video features a young Miley Cirus (starting at the 1:34 mark):

The Festival also spotlights Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver (Nov. 28), a longtime performer at this event, as well as relative newcomers The Grascals (IBMA's 2005 Emerging Artist of the Year, as well as Entertainer of the Year in 2006-2007).
