Steve Miller Band at HOB Oct. 8

Legendary blues-rock group Steve Miller Band makes its way to The House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach for a special performance on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 8:30 p.m.

Though the group reached its peak of popularity in the mid-70s with such hits as "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle" and "Swingtown," Steve Miller Band is still going strong more than four decades after releasing its first album. The band released its latest album, Let Your Hair Down, in April 2011.

After all these years, Steve Miller's unmistakable voice is as vibrant today as ever. Take a listen from his recent video, where the band's leader discusses the inspiration behind Steve Miller Band's latest work.
