Fibber's on the Water, 4498 Waterfront Dr., Little River, 843-280-2271

The owner gets in fresh fish from the dock behind the restaurant. From the roomy second-floor deck, diners can see exactly where their seafood came from. At the outdoor tiki bar, football lovers gather for Sunday NFL games with complimentary snacks and special drink prices. Recommendations: The fish of the day, a 14-ounce Ribeye that can be grilled or blackened and topped with blue cheese or Diane sauce, Shepherd's Pie.

Filet's, 2120 Sea Mountain Highway, North Myrtle Beach, 843-280-5200

The indoor part of this restaurant is enormous with two levels of dining space, and the outdoor deck overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway is also huge. There's live entertainment out at the tiki bar several nights per week. Recommendations: Sushi, Pecan Crusted Chicken, Osso Buco.
