Before you hit the beach on Saturday, head a few miles inland to the Conway Farmers Market, from 8 a.m. to noon at the corner of Main Street and Third Avenue in downtown Conway. That afternoon, La Belle Amie Vineyard (1120 St. Joseph Road, at the corner of Hwy. 90 and St. Joseph Road in North Myrtle Beach) hosts its Summer Parrot Head Music & Wine Fest from 12 to 5 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon of live music, wine, food and friendly folks. You’ll also enjoy crafters, prizes, a vineyard tour and, of course, get a chance to sample the unique wines of La Belle Amie Vineyard. This is a BYO-chairs-and-blankets event; call 843-399-WINE (9463) for more information.
Later, head on over to Apache Campground & Pier (9700 Kings Road, Myrtle Beach), which presents “Variety on the Pier” on Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m. The family-friendly event includes entertainment under the pier’s yellow awning by Byron’s Pure Pleasure Band.
