Wine Gala to Kick Off Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art
http://www.mbsun.com/assets_c/2009/08/Wine Gala graphic-thumb-250x267-2234.jpgTime is running out to save $25 per ticket for admission to the 10th Annual Pawleys Island Wine Gala, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 18, 6-9 p.m. at The Carriage House at Litchfield Plantation. The Gala is the kickoff and benefit for the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art.
Attendees will get to sample the offerings of more than 60 renowned wineries, and enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres, live music, and a dessert tasting to end the evening (a new element for this year).
Among several exclusive marketing opportunities is the chance to attend a private wine tasting ($250 per person; limited to the first 12 individuals to sign up). This private tasting will be hosted by several philanthropic wine connoisseurs who will be donating wine from their private cellars. This will be held at The Carriage House at 5:30, prior to the Gala. Your ticket also includes admission to the Gala.
Tickets purchased before Sept. 1 are $75 apiece, and cost $100 each from that date forward. For more information, visit the event Web site.
