YMCA Unveils New Facility

The Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA recently opened it shiny-new facility, just off the west side of 62nd Avenue North and U.S. 17 Bypass in Myrtle Beach.

Among its amenities, the new YMCA building features:

an indoor, heated pool with four lap lanes and recreation play zone;
a sprawling fitness center with state-of-the-art strength training, cardiovascular and free weight equipment, along with several high-definition TV screens;
a gymnasium for full-court basketball, and with a retractable partition for segmenting the gym for multiple uses;
an aerobics/cycling studio;
a sauna;
an outdoor children's play area; and
an afterschool camp, as well as an on-site child watch service for family members.

Several different types of memberships are available, or you may simply pay a $12 guest fee per visit ($5 for visiting YMCA members from outside the area). For more information, visit www.CoastalCarolinaYMCA.org.
