Airport Club Rentals Offer Quality, Peace of Mind

You know that empty, helpless feeling, standing by the airport baggage carousel as it spits out everyone’s luggage … but yours.

What’s worse, while your clubs are making a temporary detour through Montego Bay, the first tee time on your four-day Myrtle Beach golf trip is only a few hours away. Can’t a vacationing hacker catch a break?

Yes, actually. All you need to do is look to your right, where Prime Times Golf & Travel awaits. Located in the baggage claim area of Myrtle Beach International Airport, Prime Times offers $25 daily rentals of premium clubs, including Nike Slingshot, Callaway Big Bertha, and Taylor Made r5 drivers and rac irons.

Women’s sets? Lefties? No problem. You can even rent shoes in this pro shop-styled store, amid a wide selection of specially priced golf accessories and clothing.

Even if your clubs aren’t lost, and you just don’t feel like traveling with them, Prime Times offers discounts for multiple-day rentals. Simply pick them up when your flight arrives, and drop them off before your departing flight.

“We offer tremendous peace of mind for people in either scenario,” says Shawn Anderson (pictured), director of sales for Prime Times Golf & Travel. Indeed, Shawn and Prime Times travel consultant Kristina Peele fancy themselves as an extended concierge service for visiting Grand Strand golfers, providing friendly, on-site assistance with preferred tee times for more than 100 Myrtle Beach area courses; lodging and dinner reservations; directions; and more.

For more information, contact Prime Times Golf & Travel at (843) 443-6000, or toll free at (888) 696-7534.

Chris P.'s Gravatar That's a pretty good deal. I'll need to remember this the next time I've got friends coming in from out of town.

James's Gravatar I've used it twice and it's a great way to try a new set of clubs. Both times they were in good shape. First time my clubs didn't make the flight, second time it was more for convienence, as I was only golfing one day.
