The ability to watch the Packers against The Cowboys in all their glory: no dice.
If your Thursday night checklist, plans, and ambitions rivaled mine, I had it all planned out. Great friends, great food, great beer and AWESOME football. Yet as most well laid plans, it was all to no avail thanks to some crazy greedy racquet by the NFL. For those of you not interested in the NFC, don’t be acquiescent for this effects more that just the standard games. From now until the end of the season a variety of the best games on are only available on the coveted NFL network. For those of us who are either cheap, or have basic and local cable this is a travesty indeed. Cable companies are adding this NFL network to their local tiers, but certainly not by 7:15 tonight! Many local bars don’t even necessarily carry the channels because of the high cost associated with the NFL ticket. So scraping the fiesta plans I think I’ll, put the Budlight and Jager on ice, read up on Packers v. Dallas past highlights and hopefully check out a local hotspot for my football viewing pleasures. So football fans, what’s your pick for tonight? And where you watching it?
