With a sudden cold snap gripping the continental U.S., the snowbirds who begin their Myrtle Beach migration this week will be greeted by a little extra steam from the outdoor heated pools (like this one at the Long Bay Resort).

Not to worry, beach lovers -- temps are expected to climb back into the 60s by the weekend.
