Mt. Republican Draws Plenty of Onlookers

Emerging from his car outside the front entrance of the Myrtle Beach Sheraton Wednesday night, FOX News’ Chris Wallace gave a passing glance to the mild commotion across the street, then quietly turned and made his way through the hotel lobby. I’m assuming that when it comes to presidential races, the longtime political correspondent has heard and seen it all.

Not so for the rest of us, though, which is why gawkers and passersby were taken by the new (albeit temporary) addition to Oak Street by Team Sandtastic – the sand sculptures of each of the six Republican presidential candidates who’ll be debating each other tomorrow night, back across the street at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center:
